This vase was hand built from coils using speckled stoneware clay. The glaze was formulated in our studio from raw materials to achieve a unique crackle design. It was dripped down the sides of the vase to create movement and texture. This crackle design is uniquely different on all sides as the glaze dripped. In between glaze drips the vase is raw speckled clay. The interior is coated with white liner glaze.
